She is sometimes very dim-witted but is quite smart and loving when she knows her friends need her. Jill came into the series in Season 2 as a rich person who had trouble with addiction, leading her through a DUI, a suicide attempt and her husband leaving her. Through Marjorie, Christy and the Girls, she found a way to beat her addiction. She recently got pregnant (Season 4) but lost the baby, the Girls rallied around her to help her get back on her feet, after this Jill stated that she wanted to adopt a baby, she went through the process with support, later finding out the person she was adopting was not a baby but a teenager named Emily. Jill gave her a home and was very excited about this, but was scared that she wasn't connecting with her. Recently Emily's mother has tried to get her back and is on her way to getting Emily back, Jill became scared and afraid of losing her daughter, but has never tried to stop Emily and Natasha from seeing each other. Emily, Natasha and Jill are friendly, however there is still tension between Natasha and Jill. At the start of Season 5 we see the girls discussing Jill before we have yet to see her, they say that they want to tell Jill something mean but only because they care, when Jill comes in we see that she has become fat from the stress of losing Emily and having to compete with Natasha.
