Season 2 of Mom was confirmed on March 13, 2014. Original episodes of this season aired from Thursday, October 30, 2014 to Thursday, April 30, 2015. The season was originally supposed to premiere on Monday, September 29, 2014, but CBS moved it to air "The Big Bang Theory" repeats.

The first episode of Season 2 is entitled "Hepatitis and Lemon Zest" and the finale is entitled "Fun Girl Stuff and Eternal Salvation".
