Season 2 of Mom was confirmed on March 13, 2014. Original episodes of this season aired from Thursday, October 30 2014 to Thursday, April 30 2015. It was originally supposed to air on Monday, September 29 2014, but CBS moved it to air "The Big Bang Theory" repeats.

The first episode of Season 2 was entitled "Hepatitis and Lemon Zest" and the finale, entitled "Fun Girl Stuff and Eternal Salvation".
